Dr. Avani Patel graduated from Guys Kings and St ThomasDental Hospital in 2005.

Following sometime in general practice, she took up Senior House Officer posts first at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge and then at Bart’s and The Royal London, gaining experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a further year in Paediatric Dentistry. This culminated in her being awarded Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery.

She further went onto a three-year specialist training pathway in Orthodontics at The Royal London Hospital which included completing a Masters Degree in Orthodontics for which which she received a distinction. She went on to complete her Membership in Orthodontics with the Royal College of Surgeons of England and joined the specialist register for Orthodontics.

Since then, she have worked in high-end orthodontic practices within the Greater London area and as a Clinical Lecturer at Queen Mary College, University of London, School of Medicine and Dentistry.

She is also a member of both the British Orthodontic Society and the European Association of Orthodontists.

At Broadway Dental Studio, I am dedicated to providing a Specialist Orthodontic service to children and adults of all ages, with varying dental complexities. She can offer a full range of orthodontic appliances from traditional metal appliances to more discreet options such as tooth-coloured ceramic appliances, Invisalign and the Incognito lingual appliance.

In her spare time, she loves travelling and has climbed up Mount Kilimanjaro and base camp of Mount Everest! No easy feat! She enjoys reading, going to yoga and keeping fit too!

Periodontist Specialist

Anjali has completed her specialist training at the prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital. Her passion lies in promoting oral health and treating patients who are concerned about losing their teeth.
Since qualifying as a dentist she has gained a broad range of dental experiences including hospital placements in oral medicine, restorative dentistry and oral surgery as well as general practice. During this time she gained her MJDF qualification.
She is an active member of the British Society of Periodontology and has attended numerous national and international conferences allowing her to continuously further her knowledge in the latest developments in research.

Periodontal disease affects the gums and supporting structures of the teeth which can lead to tooth loss. Anjali is committed to providing the highest standard of care and strongly believes in a holistic approach allowing her to help patients reduce the burden of periodontal disease on oral and general health.
In her spare time, Anjali enjoys choreographing and performing Indian dance, listening to music and photography.

Blerina joined our dental family in 2017 and is a fully qualified GDC registered dental nurse. She enjoys learning new trends and techniques in dentistry and continuously improving her skills to help her patients and assist the dentist as best as she can. She has previous medical experience too. Apart from dental nursing, Blerina enjoys reading, cooking, listening to music and play tennis. She has 2 young children that also keep her busy. Davida is our friendly and very talented hygienist here at Broadway Dental Studio, Mill Hill. She works hard at encouraging our patients to look after their teeth and gums. Davida helps patients with gum problems and gets their teeth gleaming again with a thorough tooth polishing service. If you are concerned about tea / coffee/ smoking staining please call the practice for an appointment with Davida. Her gentle approach is an instant hit with any nervous patient.

Our lovely hygienist, Kellie trained at Portsmouth Dental Academy in 2008, alongside Kings College London students, attaining a degree in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy. Kellie has an interest in cosmetic dental treatments, such as tooth whitening, and undertook additional training in this subject with the president of the UK Bleaching Society. She loves working with paediatric patients and gently helping anxious patients, taking a holistic approach, and fundamentally placing prevention of disease above all else. As well as being a Hygienist Kellie is also undergoing a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree at Peninsula university which she hopes to complete in 2016. Hence, she can carry out additional treatments such as fillings as well.

Svetlana Grigorieva has been part of our team for nearly 20 years and is our receptionist. She is also a qualified dental nurse so is able to help book appropriate times for patients concerns. She welcomes all the patients and is able to get all your treatment plans and invoices in order for your dental insurance claims as well. In her spare time she enjoys keeping fit at her gym, travelling, gardening and going to opera.

Krisztina’s friendly and caring nature makes her an ideal dental nurse especially for our patients for whom dental care can be a little stressful. Recently she has moved to Kent but still comes up to the practice to nurse on Saturdays.

Our fully qualified dental nurse Ana makes sure that the patients come first during their visit to the dental practice. Along with dental nursing she ensures the smooth running of the practice and patient management, and is an asset to our team in Mill Hill. She has a vast previous experience in journalism and PR and recently also enrolled in further education in Tourism. She enjoys travelling, watching movies and listening to music!

Our enthusiastic Trainee Dental Nurse is always keen to learn more in the field of dentistry and is mainly working alongside the dentist in our evening clinics. Cristina has a natural ability to relate to patients and is always there to keep patients at ease by her friendly and approachable manner. She is fluent in several languages including Spanish, French, Italian and Romanian and also manages to run her own business alongside. She enjoys reading (totally passionate about Harry Potter), rock music and recently taken up the gym too. Yes she definitely is full of energy!

Beena is our newly qualified dental nurse that has been with the practice since 2013. She started her training with the practice and we are proud of her achievements. Beena’s calm and caring nature puts her in an ideal position to care for our dental patients. She is approachable and always eager to help. Beena enjoys learning and has completed a Diploma in Floristry and more recently a NVQ in Customer Service.

Dr. Priyal Shah has been practising dentistry for over 10 years now. She joined Broadway Dental Studio 3 years back after moving to North-west London. She has been providing excellent NHS and Private dental care at practices that come under the aegis of Primary Health Care Trusts of Kingston- upon – Thames, Wimbledon, Hounslow and now Mill Hill, Barnet.

Dr. Priyal firmly believes in building a strong patient-doctor relationship and providing customized dental care suited to each patient’s needs. Not surprisingly she holds a reputation for being scrupulous and conscientious with her patients and making them feel at ease. She aims to make her patients dentally fit with emphasis on prevention and minimally invasive dentistry. Long-term oral health for her patients is her aim. Her professional work and continuing patient care was acknowledged when she received the Best Female dentist award for London region in 2017 from the Association of Indian dentists UK (AIDUK).

Dr. Priyal did her BDS in 2001 from Pune University, India where she was top of the class each academic year. She started her practice in a private dental clinic in Mumbai before moving to UK in 2005. After giving her licensing exams, she was given the right to practice here straight away by the General Dental Council UK granting her complete exemption from vocational training based on her past record.

Over the years of clinical practice, her keen interest in restoring patients’ teeth to their best health has led her to pursue MSc. in Restorative Dental Practice at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute (University College London). Eastman is the largest postgraduate dental school in Europe and has the reputation of one of the world’s leading academic centres for dentistry. Dr. Shah is in the final year of the MSc. that is due completion in December 2017. She has already completed has Certificate and Diploma in Restorative Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Hospital enabling her to help patients with several dental concerns. When not practising dentistry, she enjoys travelling, photography, playing tennis and meditation.

After qualifying from the prestigious Guy’s, King’s & St. Thomas’ Hospitals in 2005, Nimisha has been working in Northampton, Watford, Essex and now settled in Mill Hill. She attained a postgraduate qualification – Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practice early in he career and has also been a mentor for newly qualified dentists.

Dr. Patel strives to offer her patients the best possible care by listening to their concerns and giving them the right options. Together with her team, she tries to offer a calming and relaxing ambience especially for her nervous patients, tries to build long lasting dental relationships and is both passionate and dedicated to helping you achieve your goal .

She went on to further complete the prestigious Diploma in Restorative Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons England (Dip Rest Dent (RCS Eng)) so as to offer the highest standards in dental practice to her patients resulting in highly aesthetic and functional results. Dr. Patel has also completed further courses and is offers her patients cosmetic straightening of their front teeth, by using clear aligners and is also an accredited Six-Months Smiles Provider. This treatment is for patients who are unhappy with their smiles due to misaligned teeth.

She is also skilled at composite bonding and has carried out numerous treatments for patients to improve the appearance of worn and chipped teeth. She is also a full member of the BDA (British Dental Association), the ESAO (European Society or Aesthetic Orthodontics) and (FDPK (UK)) Faculty of General Dental Practitioners UK. When she is not studying or practising dentistry, Dr. Patel has a passion for photography and travelling. After several lessons in golf she’ll also be seen in the local driving range practicing her swing!

Patient was concerned about his front teeth that were chipped and stained.We didn’t want to do anything invasive, but rather minimal treatment by Composite Bonding to get a good appearance. Patient was delighted that this was done in 1 visit as he was attending a friend’s wedding.
